Publish and Live

Publish a version

Select a branch with a workfile version and choose Publish. Flowinator creates a numbered publish copy and records its author, date, version, and commit.

Each branch also has a stable Live publish file. Publishing updates that file to the latest publish while retaining all numbered publishes.

File type	Purpose
Work version	Artist's numbered production file.
Publish version	Immutable numbered delivery copy.
Live publish	Stable latest publish path for downstream scenes.

Use Live in another scene

Select the published asset or shot branch, then use one of these actions:

• Import Live: imports the Live publish into the current scene.
• Reference Live: imports the Live publish as a Moho layer reference.

Use Reference Live when the scene should update through Moho's layer-reference workflow after a newer Live publish is created. Moho controls which referenced layer properties update, so validate it with representative production scenes.

An unpublished branch has no Live file and cannot be imported or referenced through these actions.
