Workfiles and Versions

Create a workfile

Select a work item and choose Create Workfile. Enter a short commit message when prompted. Flowinator creates a numbered .moho file and records its author, date, comment, and version in JSON metadata.

If the selected work item already contains workfile versions, Create Workfile creates a new work item branch before saving. Use Save New Version when continuing the same branch.

Save a new version

  1. Open or work in the relevant Moho file.
  2. Select the matching branch in Flowinator.
  3. Choose Save New Version.
  4. Add an optional commit message.

Flowinator increments the version automatically and never overwrites an existing numbered file.

Naming

The branch name is built from non-default hierarchy values:

Duck_Draw_V0001.moho
Duck_Red_Draw_Front_V0001.moho
SH010_Animation_Default_V0001.moho

Default variant and work-item values are omitted where appropriate to keep names concise.

Version records

The Work Versions list shows the version, author, and commit. Select a version and choose Load to open that file in Moho.
